This remarkable surge was driven by strong performance across internal combustion engine (ICE) models, rapid expansion in the electric vehicle (EV) segment, and steady growth in international markets.
In Strong Domestic Demand Continues
The domestic market also showed solid momentum. According to Vahan data, 5,52,713 units were registered in April 2026, reflecting an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.

- Domestic Dispatches: 5,32,433 units
